SilicaDrive Acceptable Use Policy
Last Updated: June 7, 2026
About SilicaDrive Services
SilicaDrive provides high-performance compute resources. To maintain platform integrity and ensure equitable access, all users must adhere to this Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). This policy applies to all services, including bare-metal GPU instances, developer workspaces, and inference APIs.
- Users are responsible for all activity under their account.
- Provisioned resources must be used for their intended compute purpose.
- SilicaDrive reserves the right to suspend accounts that degrade platform performance for others.
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on SilicaDrive infrastructure:
- Engagement in illegal acts or the distribution of unlawful content.
- Creation, training, or deployment of models designed for Harassment, Deception, or Non-consensual content generation.
- Unauthorized cryptographic mining or distributed ledger operations unless explicitly permitted by specific enterprise agreements.
- Any attempt to circumvent platform resource limits or billing mechanisms.
- Scanning, testing, or probing the SilicaDrive network without prior written authorization.
Security & Privacy
Maintaining a secure cloud environment is a shared responsibility. While SilicaDrive secures the underlying infrastructure, users are mandated to:
- Secure their own access credentials and API keys.
- Implement appropriate encryption for data stored on provisioned volumes.
- Immediately report any suspected breaches or unauthorized access to our security team.
- Ensure that all software and libraries installed on instances are regularly patched.
Credits & Payments
- Accounts must maintain valid payment methods for ongoing on-demand compute.
- Credits applied to accounts are subject to expiration as per promotional terms.
- Circumvention of billing metrics or API rate-limiting is considered a tier-1 policy violation.
Enforcement & Changes
SilicaDrive reserves the right to investigate violations of this policy through automated monitoring of resource utilization and network patterns.
- Failure to comply may result in temporary suspension or permanent termination of services.
- Serious violations involving illegal acts will be reported to appropriate law enforcement agencies.
- SilicaDrive may update this AUP periodically; continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
